In the beginning of the XX Century the house where B&B Villa Sandía is located, was owned by a mine worker of La Valenciana mine.
Today the place keeps its original ambiance due to a careful work of restoration in a Mexican modern style, with vibrant colors, a colonial fountain, arcs, a chimney, a terrace and a garden of cactus.
However, as its name indicates, is the Sandía or Watermelon, the main inspiration of this B&B, representing in the colors red and green, the passion, life and nature of Mexico and its people, that artists such as Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera have perpetuated in their paintings.
In consequence, when you stay in B&B Villa Sandía you will feel at home away from home in a real Mexican style. |
